Mine does that as well. There is a specialty item type seal in it as oposed to an actual o-ring )it looks like a miniaturized chevy wheel bearing seal). I took mine apart recently and turned it over to see if that would help. Not really, but it did slow the leak down to a cable coating every ciouple weeks instead of every couple days. I'm going to try a crush washer as opposed to the factory piece. If it works, I'll post it, if it doesn't, neithuer will I.
